German Pavilion at WHEC 2012

RESUMÉE of the Canadian Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Association

PRESS release

Hydrogen and fuel cell experts from all over the world meet in Toronto at the WHEC World Hydrogen Energy Conference from June 3-7, 2012 at the German Pavilion

The German industry is a world leader in the field of hydrogen and fuel cell technology and has beside the manufacturers and companies many initiatives and programs to prepare the market for products and applications.

Germany, with its National Innovation Programme for Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Technology (NIP), is to be establishing bilateral relations especially with countries which have extensive fuel cell activities, such as the USA, Canada, Japan, China or Korea. Joint activities will initially focus on scientific issues. In the Federal States there are a number of networks that bring together actors from the field of hydrogen and fuel cell technology at state level.

The German Pavilion presents German companies under the slogan “hydrogen, fuel cells and electric mobility made in Germany“. The target of the common trade-fair participation is to present Germany as one of the leading and innovative nation in hydrogen and fuel cell systems and components. A top-notch competence is self-evident and the exhibitors offer a big range of innovative products and determined research in the German fuel cell and hydrogen sector.

At the beginning of 2012 the Pavilion took place the fourth time in Japan at the FC Expo. In June the German Pavilion will show the range at the World Hydrogen Energy Conference. The world’s hydrogen and fuel cell community will come together in Toronto, Canada from June 3-7, 2012 for the WHEC 2012. The event will be celebrating its 19th edition and will take place at the Sheraton Centre Toronto.
